Calculation of entropy increment during the heat exchange between two solid bodies
Engineering Education # 01, January 2014 DOI: 10.7463/0114.0681975 УДК: 536.75 This article presents a description of entropy increment during the thermal contact between two solid bodies. It was demonstrated that the entropy function depends on the system’s non-equilibrium coefficient. For a highly non-equilibrium system that function rises logarithmically but when a thermodynamic system is close to equilibrium the type of dependence becomes exponential. Solution to the equation which describes convergence of thermodynamic system’s entropy to the equilibrium state was obtained.
Brownian motion of a plane surface in a non-Newtonian medium
Engineering Education # 06, June 2013 DOI: 10.7463/0613.0586338 This paper describes motion of a plane surface in an unbounded viscous medium with non-Newtonian properties under the action of a random force. It was shown that fluctuations in the velocity of such a surface are described by a stochastic integral equation, and are classified as non-Markov processes. Statistical characteristics of changes in surface velocity, including a characteristic function of the first order and moments of the first and the second order were obtained. It was also shown that the effect of both dilettant and pseudo-plastic non-Newtonian fluids in the first approximation have similar statistical properties. It was determined that the variance of fluctuations of surface acceleration in case of a non-Newtonian medium was greater compared to the same parameter in a Newtonian fluid.
77-30569/255578 Influence of spectral noise on errors of substance concentration recovery at substance detection in aero-space by Fourier spectroradiometer data
Engineering Education # 12, December 2011 The authors consider numerical solution algorythms for identification and concentrations calculation of substances in the atmosphere. Instead of solving the multidimensional system of linear equations it is proposed to solve one or several one-dimensional systems. Conversion to one-dimensional problem is performed by correlation analysis. The influence of noise in the initial spectrum on errors of inverse problem solution was studied.
